Just looking at these Nike SB Classics gets me in the mood to skate. The Orange colorway seems perfect for hot summer days in LA, Miami or ATL. White swooshes and midsole work well with the turquoise-green laces, stitching, and sock liner. The turquoise on the outsole gives the sneakers an almost icey sole look. Skate shops should be getting their shipments of these very soon. Via: NSB

Upcoming Dunk High model that sports a silver Vandal-esque nylon upper and now it appears that they will not be alone in the Nike Fall 2009 collection. Two additional nylon colorways of what Nike is calling the Dunk Vandal Premium will also be on the way to retailers soon. One pair features a solid Black upper and midsole with Green Spark accents and a set of Zitron laces. The other colorway uses a Midnight Navy base with touches of New Magenta and Total Orange. As mentioned before, both of these Dunk Vandal Premiums, as well as the Silver/Blue/Red pair, will be coming to select Nike accounts soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

In an interesting move Freshjive will be dropping all forms of logo placements and branding on their entire collection from Spring/Summer 2010. Rick Klotz has always had an issue with the business of branding, yet loves designing clothing and t-shirt designs. As a result he decided to no longer use the name Freshjive on any product coming from them. It’s a very interesting decision and we look forward seeing the impact of the decision.
After the jump you can take a look at how this no logo and no branding strategy translates onto their product.

The new Nike SB P-Rod 3 has been released this week. Nike SB continues their P-Rod collection with yet another classic, both in terms of silhouette and in terms of colorways.
“Much like the Air Jordan series, the P-Rod franchise reinvents itself with each shoe, out-doing its predecessor and the competition. P-Rod is to skateboarding as MJ is to basketball, a fitting analogy which explains each signature P-Rod model’s Air Jordan style and color-way. Much like the Air Jordan III, the P-Rod III uses the same Black/Red color palette and low-profile style as well as elements from the AJIII like the lace eyelets and instead of elephant print, a safari pattern. Another excellent model for the growing P-Rod series.”
